Description
This witty and imaginative limited edition print by celebrated collage artist Barry Kite masterfully blends art history with contemporary humor. Titled 'Original Sin,' the piece reimagines the classic Biblical narrative of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden — but with a distinctly modern twist: Eve tempts Adam not with an apple, but with a golf ball, while a divine golfer hurls lightning bolts from above. Kite's signature style of juxtaposing Renaissance-style figurative painting with photographic pop-culture elements is on full display, making this a genuinely clever and conversation-starting work of art.
Condition
GoodThe print appears to be in good condition with no visible tears, fading, or significant damage to the image itself. The warm wood frame and double mat (tan outer, burgundy inner) show minor handling wear consistent with normal use. A small price tag is attached to the upper left corner of the frame.
