Description
Stunning mid-century Hollywood Regency two-tier coffee table featuring ornate faceted crystal/lucite column supports with brass cap hardware. The upper tier is clear tempered glass with a rounded rectangular silhouette, while the lower tier features a larger oval antiqued eglomisé-style mirror glass with gold veining — a hallmark of 1950s-1960s Italian or French decorative design. Condition is Good — the antiqued gold veining on the lower shelf is an original decorative technique, not damage. Brass hardware shows appropriate patina. No significant chips or cracks observed. This piece is LOCAL PICKUP ONLY due to extreme fragility of glass components. Professional packing recommended if freight shipping is arranged by buyer at their expense. A true statement piece for any collector of vintage Hollywood Regency or Italian Mid-Century interiors.
Condition
GoodLower tier shows decorative antiqued mirror/marbled glass with gold veining — this appears intentional, not damage. There is a section (in images) of the fraying of the marbling in the back corner. Pretty consistent with anging. Upper tier clear glass is intact. Some minor patina on brass hardware consistent with age. No visible chips or cracks in glass edges from photo. Underneath the table has some fraying of paint or aging (in image)
