Description
Up for sale is a stunning vintage rattan sheaf of wheat pedestal table standing 29 inches tall. This iconic hourglass-shaped design features tightly bundled rattan reeds that fan out at top and bottom, cinched dramatically at the waist with a wrapped rattan or leather binding — a hallmark of the coveted McGuire Furniture style popularized in the 1970s and 80s. The tabletop features a mosaic of cross-cut rattan or wood rounds set in resin, creating a beautiful organic surface. Condition is good with age-appropriate patina, light surface staining on the top, and minor wear at the base. The structure is solid and sturdy. Approximate dimensions: 29" H; top diameter estimated 18-20". This piece ships freight only due to size and fragility — local pickup strongly preferred. Please review all photos carefully. A truly stunning statement piece for bohemian, coastal, or mid-century modern interiors.
Condition
GoodOverall good structural integrity. Some weathering and minor staining visible on the top surface. Base shows light wear at bottom where rattan meets ground. The leather or rattan binding wrap at the waist appears intact. Consistent with age-appropriate patina.
