Vintage Japan-Made Toy Xylophone with Mallets

Up for sale is a charming vintage toy xylophone stamped 'JAPAN' on the wooden frame, consistent with mid-century (1950s-1960s) manufacture. Features 13 colorful metal keys in red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, and more, each numbered for beginner music learning. The wooden base is elevated on wire legs and includes two mallets (one appears original, one replacement). Condition is Fair — shows honest age wear including paint loss on some keys, scuffing to the wood frame, and general patina consistent with a played and loved vintage toy. All keys appear present and the frame is structurally intact. Great display piece or addition to a vintage toy collection. Approximate dimensions: roughly 16 inches long x 5 inches wide.
