Vintage Papier-Mâché Clown Figurine with Balloons

Up for sale is a charming vintage papier-mâché clown figurine in a seated position, holding two balloons on wire stems — one blue and one brown/aged. The clown features a painted white face with green teardrop accents, red nose, yellow hair, green polka-dot pointed hat, red polka-dot top, lace collar, green baggy pants, and yellow shoes. A wonderful example of handcrafted folk-art style clown collectibles from what appears to be mid-20th century origin. Condition is Fair — paint shows wear, fading, and minor chipping throughout. One balloon has significant paint loss/discoloration. The lace collar is original but yellowed with age. The piece is structurally intact with no major breaks observed.
