Description
This striking Mountain Man is 10.5x10.5. 31"H For Mountain Man, reproduction of Frederic Remington's iconic 1895 masterpiece 'The Bronco Buster' captures all the energy and drama of the American West. Remington's original sculpture, now housed at the Smithsonian, is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated works in American art history, depicting a cowboy breaking a wild horse with dynamic movement and raw power. This cast features exceptional detail throughout — from the cowboy's outstretched arms and wide-brimmed hat to the horse's flared nostrils and flying mane. The deep, rich brown-black patina gives the piece the gravitas of a fine bronze. It is mounted on a handsome oval black and grey marble base with an identifying nameplate. A perfect statement piece for a study, library, office, or living room, this sculpture brings timeless Western Americana into any décor. Highly appealing to collectors of Western art, Remington admirers, and anyone who appreciates bold, figurative sculpture with historical roots.
