Description
This is a beautifully crafted antique corner chair featuring elegant lathe-turned spindles, ball finials, and a woven rush seat in a classic herringbone/chevron pattern. The chair sits diagonally into a corner, with two back rails meeting at a central post — a design popular in American and European country furniture from the late 19th to early 20th century. Condition is Good: the rush seat is intact with light surface wear but no fraying or breaks. The wooden frame is sturdy, with all spindles and finials present. The dark walnut-toned finish shows natural patina consistent with age. No major damage, repairs, or replacements noted.
