Antique Demilune Console Table with Marquetry Inlay & Gilt Legs
$1,100.00Description
Stunning demilune (half-moon) console table featuring an elaborately inlaid marquetry top with fan, shell, and foliate motifs radiating from a central sunburst medallion. The apron is carved with fluted reeding and beadwork finished in gilt, supported by four tapered legs with richly carved gilt acanthus capitals — hallmarks of Neoclassical or Adam-style design. Condition is Good: the marquetry top shows minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and use, but the inlay pattern remains vivid and largely intact. The gilt carved apron and legs retain strong detail with normal patina. Structurally solid with no wobble observed. Approximate dimensions based on photo: 48-52" wide x 16" deep x 32" tall (buyer should confirm prior to purchase). Due to size, fragility, and value, local pickup is strongly preferred.
