Antique German Porcelain Child's Tea Set with Victorian Girl Motif

$500.00

Description

Offered here is a charming antique German porcelain child's tea set featuring a delightful Victorian girl in a pink dress depicted in various domestic scenes — ironing, holding an umbrella, and tending to household tasks. The set includes a tall teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, a creamer, approximately 6 plates, 6 saucers, and 5-6 cups — totaling approximately 20+ pieces. The porcelain features a classic pink lustre blush border with white ground and applied lithograph decals. The pieces show age-appropriate toning on the lids and minor crazing consistent with late 19th to early 20th century German manufacture. No chips or cracks are readily visible, but buyers should note this is an antique set and minor imperfections may exist. Each piece should be examined under good lighting before final listing. This set is likely of German or Austro-Hungarian origin, circa 1890–1915, consistent with the style of export porcelain common in that era. Will ship carefully packed in double-boxed bubble wrap. Buyer assumes shipping risk; insurance recommended. A wonderful display piece or addition to any Victorian porcelain collection.
